Dr. Shane Seymour is a valued member of the Cerritos office, bringing a wealth of experience and a commitment to exceptional eye care. Born in Hawaii and raised in Southern California, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Seymour furthered his education at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
While at optometry school, Dr. Seymour distinguished himself as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society (BSK) and the Omega Delta Fraternity. His diverse externships provided invaluable experiences at Southeast Tucson’s Veteran’s Hospital, the Las Vegas Veteran’s Hospital, a private practice in Brea, and the Ketchum Health Eye Care Center.
Dr. Seymour's professional interests encompass pediatrics, contact lenses, co-management of surgical procedures, and diagnosing and treating ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. His passion for optometry is evident in his dedication to delivering high-quality eye care to meet the unique visual needs of all his patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Seymour embraces an active lifestyle, indulging in basketball and soccer. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and his beloved pet corgi, Gatsby. Dr. Seymour's diverse interests extend to playing the guitar, staying updated on the latest movies and shows, exploring new travel destinations, and discovering interesting food spots to try.
